If panels are damaged, chipped or require feathering at panel joints, repair with Unitex Fast R Render. Allow to dry to 10-12%WME. Liberally coat entire surface (rolled or sprayed) with Unitex Cembond (approx. 35-45m2 per pail) to provide an evenly sealed surface over panel and any patched areas. Apply a levelling coat of Unitex Fast R Render to entire surface. Allow to dry to 10- 12%WME.
Drying times will vary depending on build-up of render and external weather conditions. Unitex recommends 10-12%WME is an acceptable level of dryness prior to application of texture coat. This moisture level can be checked with a moisture meter. Apply and finish to uniform textured surface one coat of the Unitex Dry Texture to entire surface and allow to dry to 10-12%WME. A recommended minimum of two coats of Unitex coloured Protective Top Coat can then be applied.
